Heartsaver 1st Aid is for people with little to no medical training who need a course completion card that meets job, regulatory, or other requirements. The course teaches first aid basics, medical emergencies, injury emergencies, environmental emergencies, and care of injuries.
There are 3 convenient options to choose from to get your 1st Aid training. You can pick the option that works best for you.

In-Person Training
For the in-person class you go to the class location and meet with the instructor. This is recommended if it's your first time doing this class or if you prefer hands-on training. You get more time to practice and to ask questions. The class takes 1-2 hours to complete depending on how much of the optional material you want to cover.

Blended Learning
Blended learning allows you to take most of the class online at your convenience. An AHA course activation code will be emailed to you and you will have 30 days from the time you receive the code to complete the course. The online portion usually takes 1 to 2 hours depending on your pace. Once you complete the online portion you will schedule a skills session with us to complete the training. The skills session will take about 30 minutes to an hour to complete depending on the optional material you want to cover.

Skills Session
This is for people that have already completed the online portion of the training somewhere else, but still need to complete the skills session part of the training. The skills session usually takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete depending on the optional material you want to cover.
