The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathogens such as healthcare workers, correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance workers, school personnel, hotel housekeepers, health and fitness club staff and tattoo artists. This course is designed to meet OSHA requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Upon completion of the online course, students receive a course completion certificate that can be presented to employers. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
Instructions:
Step 1: Once you have paid for the course here you will be sent a course activation email. The email will be sent within 24 hours Monday-Thursday. If you pay for the class on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday it could take until Monday for course activation email to come through.
Step 2: Complete the Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens online portion of the course. The online course can be completed in approximately 1 hour. You have 30 days from the time that you receive the course activation email to complete the course. You can complete the online portion as quickly or slowly as you wish within 30 days of receiving the activation email. You will be able to save your progress for the online portion if you need to stop and come back to it later.
Step 3: Print the certificate of completion when you are done.

The online class can NOT be completed on a mobile device. It must be done on a computer or iPad.
Blended Learning classes have a no refund/no rescheduling policy. Once you pay for the course you must complete the course within 30 days of receiving your activation code. The activation code is only good for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the course within the 30 day time frame. Failure to complete the course within the time frame will result in the student needing to purchase the course again to access it.
