***This class can be purchased by using the "Shop" button in the menu at the top of each page.*** HeartCode BLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the BLS Course. HeartCode blended learning delivers quality resuscitation education regardless of where providers are located and gives them more control to complete the course at their own pace. Providers first complete the online portion of HeartCode BLS and then complete a hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS Instructor. You can take the majority of the BLS course online at home, then schedule a quick hands-on skills test (approximately 1 hour) with an instructor. Step 1: Once you have paid for the course here you will be sent a course activation email. The email will be sent within 24 hours Monday-Thursday. If you pay for the class on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday it could take until Monday for course activation email to come through. Step 2: Complete the HeartCode BLS online portion of the course. The online course can be completed in approximately 2 to 3 hours. You have 30 days from the time that you receive the course activation email to complete the course. You can complete the online portion as quickly or slowly as you wish within 30 days of receiving the activation email. You will be able to save your progress for the online portion if you need to stop and come back to it later. Step 3: Print the certificate of completion when you are done. Step 4: Schedule a skills session with us by calling, texting, or emailing us to set up a time. Be sure to bring a copy of your Heartcode BLS certificate of completion to your skills session! It must be done on a computer or iPad. Completion of this course leads to the trainee being certified for two years in accordance with the American Heart Association’s guidelines. A fully validated certification card is issued to all successful attendees at the end of the course. Blended Learning classes have a no refund/no rescheduling policy. Once you pay for the course you must complete the course (online portion and skills session) within 30 days of receiving your activation code. The activation code is only good for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the course within the 30 day time frame.

Cancellation Policy

There is no refund once you pay for a class. Your payment can be applied to a future class if you have an emergency (COVID exposure, death of a loved one), but not if you simply don't show up to a class or you decide to make other plans. The instructors commit to the schedule on this site and this class takes significant set-up time. We are a small business and will lose money if instructors commit to a class, but no one shows up. You can re-schedule to another class with 48 hours notice (less in the case of an emergency). Blended Learning classes have a no refund/no rescheduling policy. Once you pay for the course you must complete the course (online portion and skills session) within 30 days of receiving your activation code. The activation code is only good for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the course within the 30 day time frame. Failure to complete the course within the time frame will result in the student needing to purchase the course again to access it.
