Service Description

The Heartsaver First Aid Course provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community. Topics covered include: • First Aid Basics • Medical Emergencies • Injury Emergencies • Environmental Emergencies Completion of this course leads to the trainee being certified for two years in accordance with the American Heart Association’s guidelines. An AHA certification card is issued to all successful attendees at the end of the course. This class is 100% in person. The class will last anywhere from about 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on how many of the optional 1st Aid topics you want to cover.

Cancellation Policy

There is no refund once you pay for a class. Your payment can be applied to a future class if you have an emergency (COVID exposure, death of a loved one), but not if you simply don't show up to a class or you decide to make other plans. The instructors commit to the schedule on this site and this class takes significant set-up time. We are a small business and will lose money if instructors commit to a class, but no one shows up. You can re-schedule to another class with 48 hours notice (less in the case of an emergency). Blended Learning classes have a no refund/no rescheduling policy. Once you pay for the course you must complete the course (online portion and skills session) within 30 days of receiving your activation code. The activation code is only good for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the course within the 30 day time frame. Failure to complete the course within the time frame will result in the student needing to purchase the course again to access it.
