The Heartsaver First Aid Course provides students the highest quality training in the lifesaving skills of first aid. The course empowers students to act with confidence in the event of an emergency at work, home, or in the community. Topics covered include: • First Aid Basics • Medical Emergencies • Injury Emergencies • Environmental Emergencies Completion of this course leads to the trainee being certified for two years in accordance with the American Heart Association’s guidelines. An AHA certification card is issued to all successful attendees at the end of the course. ***Please use the SHOP button in the menu at the top of each page to book the Heartsaver First Aid Blended Learning course. Contact us if you need to schedule the in-person class or the skills session.*** This course has 2 parts: 1- A course will be sent to your email for you to complete at your own pace. You have 30 days to complete it. The length of the course will depend on how many of the optional topics you choose to complete. All topics completed will show up on a certificate of completion at the end of the course. 2- Once you have completed the online portion you will print your certificate of completion for the online portion and schedule a skills session with us. The length of the skills session will also depend on the amount of topics covered in the online section and can range from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Cancellation Policy

There is no refund once you pay for a class. Your payment can be applied to a future class if you have an emergency (COVID exposure, death of a loved one), but not if you simply don't show up to a class or you decide to make other plans. The instructors commit to the schedule on this site and this class takes significant set-up time. We are a small business and will lose money if instructors commit to a class, but no one shows up. You can re-schedule to another class with 48 hours notice (less in the case of an emergency). Blended Learning classes have a no refund/no rescheduling policy. Once you pay for the course you must complete the course (online portion and skills session) within 30 days of receiving your activation code. The activation code is only good for 30 days. It is the responsibility of the student to complete the course within the 30 day time frame. Failure to complete the course within the time frame will result in the student needing to purchase the course again to access it.
